IoTextra Input - Isolated 8 DI channels module

The IoTextra Input module has eight digital input channels. The maximum level of the digital input signal is up to 36 VDC. All channels have individual galvanic insulation with an electrical insulation strength of 3750Vrms and TVS protection on inputs.

There is an indication of the status of digital input channels.

There are two modes for using the IoTextra Input module:

·   GPIO. In this mode, reading the state of input signals is carried out using signals AP0-AP7 in the HOST-P connector.

·      I²C. In this mode, the state of input signals is carried out on the serial I²C bus using an I/O expander (TCA9534 or compatible). Up to 16 modules can be connected to one I²C bus.

It is also possible to use AP0-AP7 signals in the HOST-P connector for some channels, and signals from the I/O expander for the rest.

Module power supply – 5VDC fed into a 3V3 stabilizer for powering the logical part. Protection against reverse polarity of power supply.

Transient suppression and electrostatic discharge protection of signals on Qwiic© connectors is done using a TVS diode assembly (ESD protection).

Compatible with Raspberry Pi, Raspberry PICO, Arduino Nano, Adafruit, Teensy, ESP32, SeeedStudio XIAO, Nucleo and more.

Module size - 47 x 56 mm. The module has mounting holes for installation in the base module or Raspberry Pi.
