BM83x - BLE5.1 module with Cortex-M4

The BM83x module uses one of the following Fanstel Compact SIP (System-in-Package) based on Nordic's miniature Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) chip:

• BM833 (based on Nordic nRF52833 QIAA)
• BM833A (based on Nordic nRF52811 QFAA)
• BM833E (based on Nordic nRF52833 QIAA)
• BM832 (based on Nordic nRF52832 QFAA)
• BM832A (based on Nordic nRF52810 QFAA)

BM83x module size - 28,6 x 25,4 mm (mikroBUS^TM, size “S”).

Frequency - 64 MHz.

Memory:

• for BM833 and BM833E           512 KB Flash memory, 128 KB RAM
• for BM832                                 512 KB Flash memory, 64 KB RAM
• for BM833A and BM832A        192 KB Flash memory, 24 KB RAM

Interface for debugging – SWD. Serial interfaces: SPI, I²C, USART. ADC - 12 bit/200KSps, 8 channels.

External connectors – mikroBUS^TM and I²C. BM833 and BM833E also have a USB connector.

BLE 5.1 for BM833, BM833A and BM833E. BLE 5.0 for BM832 and BM832A.

Antenna – PCB Trace. Except BM833E (u.FL antenna).

Input power - 5V. The voltage regulator is Microchip's MIC5528, providing 500 mA output current. There are RESET button and three LED-indicators (power and two software-controlled).
