Whether you're innovating in IoT, crafting smart home solutions, or deploying complex industrial controls, the IoTsmart ESP32-S3 seamlessly connects with all loTextra series mezzanines, including Digital, Analog, and Combo modules via a 12-pin HOST connector. This connector includes I2C (SDA and SCL), 8 GPIO pins, and two power contacts (+5V and GND). Choose your installation method.
· TOP (H-HOST) Option: For vertical mounting into your loTextra series mezzanine.
· BOTTOM (V-HOST) Option: For horizontal mounting into your loTextra series mezzanine.
Essentially, this module upgrades standard mezzanines into intelligent, programmable smart modules.
To improve configurability and user data storage, the IoTsmart ESP32-S3 module includes an 8Kbit EEPROM (1024x8 bit, M24C08 or compatible).
For easy use of the I2C interface, the module is equipped with Qwiic© connectors for seamless communication with other modules via the I2C bus. This connector supports the integration of external devices and sensors, with I2C pull-up resistors enabled by default.
Additionally, the IoTsmart ESP32-S3 module can be equipped with optional UART and AUX connectors.
The input power for the IoTsmart ESP32-S3 module is non-isolated +5VDC, which can be supplied via a JST connector.
For debugging, a Tiny Adaptor Board with Cable is required (not included; must be purchased separately).
