Ultimate Wireless Suite: The IoTsmart ESP32-S3 is defined by its integrated 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g/n) and Bluetooth® 5 (LE), ensuring versatile and reliable connectivity out of the box.

High-Speed Processing: At its core, it features a powerful Xtensa® 32-bit LX7 dual-core processor, clocking in at up to 240 MHz, ready for demanding IoT applications. With ample onboard memory—including 512KB of SRAM, 384KB ROM, 2MB PSRAM, and 4MB Flash—this delivers serious processing power, ready to efficiently tackle even your most demanding applications. The IoTsmart ESP32-S3 module specifically incorporates Waveshare ESP32-S3-Mini.

Choose your installation method.

·         TOP (H-HOST) Option: For vertical mounting into your loTextra series mezzanine.

·         BOTTOM (V-HOST) Option: For horizontal mounting into your loTextra series mezzanine.

Essentially, this module upgrades standard mezzanines into intelligent, programmable smart modules.

To improve configurability and user data storage, the IoTsmart ESP32-S3 module includes an 8Kbit EEPROM (1024x8 bit, M24C08 or compatible).

For easy use of the I²C interface, the module is equipped with Qwiic^© connectors for seamless communication with other modules via the I²C bus. This connector supports the integration of external devices and sensors, with I²C pull-up resistors enabled by default.

Additionally, the IoTsmart ESP32-S3 module can be equipped with optional UART and AUX (only in 1-02 version) connectors.

The input power for the IoTsmart ESP32-S3 module is non-isolated +5VDC, which can be supplied via a JST connector.

For debugging, a Tiny Adaptor Board with Cable is required (not included; must be purchased separately).

Key enhancements in version 2.01 compared to previous versions:

• Optimized Form Factor: The module now measures 47x30 mm, providing better mechanical compatibility and a more seamless fit when docked with loTextra mezzanines.
• EYESPI Interface: A new onboard EYESPI connector adds plug-and-play support for popular LCDs and other displays using a standardized 18-pin FPC cable.
• Dual Qwiic^© Connectors: The addition of a second Qwiic connector allows for easy daisy-chaining of multiple I²C devices and sensors without the need for additional hubs.
