The IoTextra MOSFET2 provides eight independent N-channel MOSFET switch channels organized into two isolated 4-channel groups. Each group has its own dedicated isolated DC-DC converter and 4-channel optocoupler. Designed for high-speed, high-current DC load switching with full galvanic isolation — ideal for PWM motor control, solenoid valves, LED dimming, and industrial automation.

Operation Modes
⎯ Standalone
Control via HOST-P10/P12 cable or Qwiic I²C connectors from any host.
⎙ Smart
Insert an IoTsmart module (ESP32-S3, RP2350, RP2040, XIAO) vertically into HOST-P12.
▭ Mezzanine
Install into an IoTbase carrier board (PICO, Nano) for expanded system integration.
Applications
⚙
Industrial Automation
PWM control for DC motors and VFDs; solenoid valve switching with zero mechanical wear. Use with Node-RED or IoTflow for PID control loops.
🌿
Smart Farming
High-power LED grow lights with sunrise/sunset dimming; pump control for micro-drip irrigation. Supports up to 90V DC equipment.
🔴
IIoT Status & Alerting
8-channel control of LED panels, sounders, and signal towers. Low RDS(on) keeps heat minimal in enclosed cabinets. Works with Tasmota and MQTT.
🏠
Smart Home
RGBW strip dimming and electromagnetic lock control. Completely silent operation — no relay clicks. Integrates with Home Assistant.
