DESCRIPTION

The IoThing 2RI+2DI (aka IoThing Digital) modules are professional digital I/O modules with two Omron G5Q-14 relays and two digital input channels (both DC and AC) based on an ISO1211 from Texas Instruments.

Power supply: 9-36VDC.

mikroBUSTM slot is designed for installing SoM Lite series on the mikroBUSTM bus, Click boardsTM from Mikroelekronika and other modules compatible with the mikroBUSTM slot.

The second part of the module - relays and digital input channels - can be isolated from the carrier part of the module (with the mikroBUSTM slot) or not isolated, depending on the version of the IoThing 2RI+2DI module. In the version with isolation, an additional Isolated DC-DC Converter is installed on the module.

The Omron G5Q-14 relays have a maximum switching current of 3A at a voltage of 250 VAC or 30 VDC. The type of switch is SPDT. Galvanic isolation - individual. An electrical insulation strength of 4 kV VAC (within 1 minute between the coil and the contacts) and 1 kV VAC (within 1 minute between the contacts of the same polarity) is ensured.

The modules allow you to enter the values of two digital signals, both DC and AC. Supports 9-V to 300-V DC and AC Digital Input. Compliant to IEC 61131-2; Type 1, 2, 3 Characteristics for 24-V Isolated Digital Inputs. Accurate Current Limit for Low-Power Dissipation: – 2.2 mA to 2.47 mA for Type 3. Maximum transient isolation voltage (up to 60 s) – 3600V.

The IoThing 2RI+2DI module is controlled via the I2C interface using the MCP23008 chip.

The IoThing 2RI+2DI module size 65 x 56 mm. The format of the module corresponds to the popular format of the Raspberry Pi 3A+, which greatly simplifies its use with the Raspberry Pi. Power supply: 9-36VDC.
