DESCRIPTION

This compact and versatile IoTextra SSR Small module is equipped with eight solid-state relays (SSRs). It offers exceptional flexibility for your control and automation projects, featuring individual galvanic isolation and a high-voltage rating. The IoTextra SSR Small can be used with IoTsmart or IoTbase modules.

Flexible Control Modes

The IoTextra SSR Small module supports two primary modes of operation:

  • GPIO Mode: The state of the SSRs is controlled directly using the AP0-AP7 signals on the HOST-P connector.
  • I2C Mode: SSR state control is managed via the serial I2C bus using an I/O expander (like the TCA9534 or a compatible chip). Up to 16 modules can be connected to a single bus.

Hybrid Control: You can also use a hybrid approach, controlling some channels with the AP0-AP7 signals and the remaining channels through the I/O expander.
